Eurovision Challenge: Day 13

A song that finished last

No Quiero Escuchar by Lydia (Spain 1999)

If this were the Eurovision Costume Contest, I would understand Spain coming last back in ’99 (a tip: if you’re ever considering taking some curtains from a child’s bedroom, stitching them together and sticking some kind of origami thing (made of a red serviette) down the front, and then WEARING IT, think again). But as a song contest, I don’t get it. You can’t tell me this is even close on the crap scale to, say, their entry from Belgrade – which did not come last.

  1. Yeah, I agree. This song was far from being as crappy as our 2005, 2006 and (specially) 2008 which didn’t finish last. Unfair.. The song is ok, I like it and she’s a good singer. The problem was the dress…or probably not, but let’s blame the dress because it was hideous 😛

Thinking it? Say it!
